Designed by gilding artist Marion Labbez, The Ascendent was created as a celebration of the challenges we all face to scale our personal mountains.

On the face of the watch a mountain shimmers on the horizon, appearing both near enough to touch and also impossibly beyond our grasp.

This sophisticated and elegant design was created with gilded palladium applied in different ways to achieve two different textures.

It is also powered by an automatic mechanical movement, which means you'll never need to replace the battery. Instead, this unique watch is powered by your movement.

How to read the time

To read the hour, you'll need to check the numbers in the tree.

To read the minute, you'll need to look to the moon or the stars. For the exact time, you need to look at the grouping and see how close to the horizon line they are.

If the stars are on the line, then it's exactly that time past the hour; slightly above the line means subtract a minute or two and slightly below the line means add on a minute or two - watch a video explaining this here.
